“We moved to the lovely scenic village of North Warnborough in 2009. As the founder of Basingstoke Town Colts I was horrified to see the village pitch all overgrown and the clubhouse in a very poor state of repair. I contact the landowner who stated that he would love to see the club thriving again and the task begun.

I raised funds via the local parish council, a Co-Op local promotion and organised a number of fun days. The club now thrives with two Adult teams entering the local Saturday & Sunday Leagues and North Warnborough Youth continues to Thrive. What I find most rewarding is the high level of spectators from the local community”
